The Sanctuary All-Stars perform on the Twilight stage at Mission’s Fraser River Heritage Park on July 4 at 7 p.m.

The Sanctuary All-Stars roll into the Envision Twilight Concert Series at Mission’s Fraser River Heritage Park on Wednesday, July 4 from 7 to 8 p.m.

The Sanctuary All-Stars, a 17-piece swing band under the direction of drummer Bob Liley, features some talented  jazz musicians from Vancouver. Now in its 15th year, the band has performed for audiences around the Lower Mainland, including its third appearance at Mission and several performances at the Kitsilano Showboat.

The band plays some of the big band classics – with updated arrangements – but it also has some original material.

The music has been described as toe-tapping, straight-ahead jazz

Twilight concerts are free, but donations are accepted.
