Presenters wanted for PechaKucha night

The gatherings will be held at The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford.

The Reach Gallery Museum is looking for presenters for Abbotsford’s first ever PechaKucha night.

PechaKucha nights are informal and fun gatherings where creative people get together and share their ideas, works, thoughts, holiday snaps – just about anything – in the PechaKucha 20x20 format.

PechaKucha 20x20 is a simple presentation format where a person shows 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and presenters talk along to the images.

Presentations can be about anything, from new research to interesting travel experiences, from urban planning to your latest creative work, and presenters can be of any age, background or experience level.

All organizers ask is it be fun, engaging and maybe even unexpected. Some presentations are funny, some are personal, but all are very different. It’s the “box of chocolates” aspect that makes it fun.

Anyone who wants to participate can contact Gabriel Kirkley at 604-864-8087 (ext. 117) or email gkirkley@thereach.ca.
