Little Fridays Downtown now underway in Abbotsford

Program runs every Thursday in June, featuring food, drinks and music

Downtown Abbotsford has launched a new initiative, called Little Fridays Downtown.

The program began June 6 and continues every Thursday in June, starting at 4:30 p.m., and will fill the downtown core with energy, music and culinary delights.

The action kicks off in Steam Alley (located next door to Pastry Portal on Montrose Avenue), where a featured musician will entertain guests each week while they enjoy a selection of refreshing locally produced beverages.

Patrons can look forward to weekly drink features, including Summer Sangria on June 6, with additional sips to be announced for June 13, 20 and 27.

Participating restaurants – including Amici, Bow & Stern, Ann Marie’s Cafe, BRGR BRGR, Revive Boutique Bistro and Old Yale Brewing – will offer happy hour specials and food samples (while supplies last).

To redeem samples, patrons must present a Dining Adventure Card (available in Steam Alley).

Businesses such as Open Space, Boardwalk Cafe & Games, and Spruce Collective will be open and offering events throughout the month on Thursday evenings.

Diners who dine at all six restaurants and attend at least one event during Little Fridays Downtown will be entered to win an ultimate downtown experience package.

Exclusive stamps can be collected on Thursday evenings from participating businesses.
