Norman Foote and the Big Voice Orchestra perform Thursday, Feb. 26 at the Abbotsford Arts Centre, 2329 Crescent Way.
The all-ages show begins at 7 p.m.
Foote is an award-winning musician who performed in Abbotsford last year. He returns this time around with choirs from Terry Fox and Margaret Stenersen elementary schools in Abbotsford.
His concert features Foote “classics” and songs from his Juno Award-winning album Love My New Shirt. In the U.S., Foote’s music has received Parent Choice and NAPPA Gold Awards and in Canada he has been given SOCAN’s Best Songwriter for Children as well as West Coast Music Awards.
Many of Foote’s songs have been made into music videos, including the Man Who Ran Away With the Moon (Disney Records) and his most recent music videos One Thousand Pennies and Let’s Sing a Song.
