The Fraser Valley Watermedia Society hosts its annual spring art show, starting next week.
The show opens at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4 at Clearbrook Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way.
An artists’ reception takes place on Thursday, May 5 from 7 to 8 p.m., and the show continues during library hours until Sunday, May 15.
The show features a wide range of new watermedia paintings by local artists.
Featured artists are Marilyn Vooys, winner of the Artists’ Choice Award and People’s Choice Award in 2105, and Laurie Thomasson, winner of the Award of Excellence 2015.
There will be a free draw on Sunday, May 15 at 3 p.m. for an original painting.
The Fraser Valley Watermedia Society welcomes new members at any time. The group meets weekly.
