Fraser Valley Watermedia Society holds show in Abbotsford

A show by the Fraser Valley Watermedia Society opens Tuesday, Jan. 16 at The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford (32388 Veterans Way).

The show runs until March 2 in the community arts space, with an artists’ reception taking place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8.

A wide range of original works will be featured in acrylic, watercolour, ink and wash, and mixed media. All pieces will be for sale.

Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursdays.

The FVWS meets every Thursday at 7 p.m. at W. J. Mouat Secondary. The group holds a show every spring at Cleabrook Library, and this year’s event runs May 25 to June 1.
