Singing the songs of Frank Sinatra and other jazz greats, Frank David will be in Abbotsford this Saturday performing at the House of James.
David is a Vancouver-based vocalist who regularly appears at various local venues and Vancouver night clubs. He is coming to Abbotsford as part of the Envision Financial Coffee House concert series. The show runs from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
As a young boy, David began singing traditional Italian songs for family and friends, and soon was wowing audiences with his ability to sing complicated tenor arias. Upon moving to Vancouver in 1995, he decided to obtain vocal coaching from an established opera voice coach.
In 2006, David began learning the wonderful songs and arrangements of Sinatra, and has since added over 100 classic Sinatra songs to his repertoire of songs that include the genres such as jazz, rock n’ roll, opera, world and pop.
