Fiddlin’ Frenzy performs this Saturday (May 14) at the first concert of the season in the Envision Financial Concert Series.
The concert runs from 7 to 9 p.m. at SippChai Cafe (11-31205 Maclure Rd.).
Discovering the fiddle at a very young age, Kai and Lia Gronberg found toe-tapping and upbeat fiddle music to be a welcome break from their classical musical training.
This pair of B.C. sibling phenoms have since taken the western competitive fiddle scene and talent shows by storm.
Fiddlin’ Frenzy has released three successful albums and performed at numerous events and competitions including, most notably, the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games and the prestigious Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Competition in Ottawa.
Concert goers are encouraged to take part in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program by bringing non-perishable food or cash donations for the Abbotsford Food Bank.
