“An Exhibition of Bleaf” is the latest presentation the Abbotsford Arts Council will present at the Kariton Art Gallery.
The work of local artist George Rychter, the show features digitally manipulated photographs of small organic sculptures made from fall coloured leaves, bones and resins.
For the last three years, Rychter’s work has centred on a photo-based exploration of digital photographs with a focus in the intuitive use of fluid movement and rich, translucent colour.
The show will run from May 25 to June 19, at the gallery, located in Mill Lake Park at 2387 Ware St. The Kariton’s hours are Tuesday to Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Rychter will be at an opening reception of the exhibit on May 27 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
