Elmo Makes Music at the AESC

The Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre features the popular Sesame Street character

In a little more than a month, monsters will be making music in Abbotsford when Elmo, Abby Cadabby, Big Bird and all the Sesame Street friends come to town.

Sesame Street Live – Elmo Makes Music will take place at the Abbotsford Entertainment & Sports Centre from July 13-15.

Before each show, kids can enjoy a new way to visit their favourite street in the interactive play zone.

Imagine your child sitting in Big Bird’s nest, popping up in Oscar’s trash can, twirling in Zoe’s dance studio or visiting Elmo’s World.

The play zone opens one hour before the show and is free to anyone with a ticket to the show.

Elmo Makes Music tells the story of Jenny, an enthusiastic new music teacher, who arrives on Sesame Street only to discover that her instruments are missing.

Jenny’s new Muppet friends quickly come to the rescue and discover instruments they never knew existed, rubber duckies, trash can lids and even cookie jars. Elmo and his  friends teach children that everyone can make and enjoy beautiful music together.

Like television’s Sesame Street, each Sesame Street Live production features timeless lessons for all ages. Through the razzle-dazzle of this Broadway-quality musical production, children learn about patience, acceptance and teamwork.

Tickets for Elmo Makes Music are still available at the AESC box office. For more visit: abbotsfordcentre.ca.
