On Oct. 25, a special double concert will feature Her Brothers (5:30 to 7 p.m.) and Elsay (7:30 to 9:30 p.m.) at House of James (2743 Emerson St) as part of the Envision Financial Coffee House Concert Series.
Her Brothers (in photo below) is a Canadian alternative rock band from Langley, combining high-energy rock with an intense longing for meaning.
Elsay is a fresh and fiery Vancouver-based folk group, whose simple instrumentation makes for some authentic foot-stomping fiddle music, complete with rhythmic guitar, bright fiddling, and soaring Irish whistle and flute.
Concert goers are invited to take part in Envision Financial’s Full Cupboard program by bringing non-perishable food or cash donations benefiting the Abbotsford Food Bank.
