Concert with singer Andrew Allen a fundraiser for Canuck Place

A concert on Saturday, Aug. 4 in Abbotsford raises money for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice.

The concert features singer Andrew Allen with special guest Corey Primus. It starts at 7:30 p.m. at Heritage Valley Resort, 47609 Willet Rd. Doors open at 6:30.

Allen is a Canadian singer and songwriter who is signed with Sony. He has released five top-10 singles and written and recorded many other hits, including Where Did You Go? with Carly Rae Jepsen.

The concert will be in memory of Kira Short, who passed away of cancer on Aug. 15, 2017 at the age of six.

Her friend, Monette, recently shaved her head to raise money for cancer research and is also going to be speaking at the concert.
