Comedian Brent Butt performs in Mission on Saturday

The popular comedian, known for the hit TV show Corner Gas, comes to the Clarke Foundation Theatre on May 25.

Canadian comedian Brent Butt will perform in Mission on Saturday, May 25.

The event takes place at the Clarke Foundation Theatre (33700 Prentis Ave.) at 7:30 p.m.

From small-town Tisdale to big-time small screen, Butt is one of Canada’s funniest and most successful comedians. Also a gifted writer, producer and actor, Brent created the hit television series Corner Gas.

Butt recently made the transition to the big screen, having completed shooting on his new feature film No Clue, which he wrote and stars in.

Even with such a busy schedule, Butt continues to tour the country performing stand-up.

“I love what I do,” Butt said. “I still look at it as just having coffee. Only now it’s with a thousand or so people at a time.”
