The Fraser Valley Blues Society will present the Arsen Shomakhov Trio

The Fraser Valley Blues Society will present the Arsen Shomakhov Trio at the Eagles Lounge (33868 Essendene Ave.), on Saturday, Dec. 6 at 8 p.m.

From Russia via Vancouver, Shomakhov’s appearances at international blues festivals cemented his reputation as a guitar player extraordinaire and an emotive, soulful singer. A finalist at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, his album “On the Move” charted on the American Top 50 Blues Chart.
