An Abbotsford photographer was awarded three "best in class" trophies during an event in Sun Peaks, B.C. over the weekend.
Jason Brown of Revival Arts won the awards after exhibiting his work as part of the Provincial Image Salon of the Professional Photographers of Canada.
One of his images also received two Judge's Choice Awards, as well as the Jan de Haas Trophy for the most creative general-interest image.
A total of 207 images were entered for consideration in the exhibit, and 60 per cent of those were accepted to be shown.
In the past few years, Brown has used his photography skills to support many non-profit organizations in the Fraser Valley and has created three Imagine books featuring portraits of children as fundraisers for Matthew's House and the Make-A-Wish Foundation of BC.
He has previously won top provincial and national awards for his architectural and portrait images and holds nine accreditations from the Professional Photographers of Canada.
