Abbotsford Youth Orchestra presents Playing for Canada

The Abbotsford Youth Orchestra (AYO) presents “Playing for Canada” on Saturday,  April 12 at 7 p.m. in the South Abbotsford Church, 32424 Huntingdon Rd.

The AYO will be joined by the Fraser Valley Academy of Dance and violinist Calvin Dyck.

The audience will hear familiar classical pieces from Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, the Thunder and Lightning Polka, and the reflective Polish Caprice.

The orchestra, dancers and soloists will also play popular and top-of-the-chart hits like the music from the movie Frozen, Nickel Rag, Remote Control, Cinema Paradiso and Tall Tale.

Audience members could also be invited up to the stage to conduct the orchestra for Pachelbel’s Canon.

Tickets are $20 and are available at King’s Music and House of James.
