Abbotsford Arts Council invites submissions for upcoming exhibit

Anonymous Art Show to take place this summer at Kariton Art Gallery

The Abbotsford Arts Council has announced an open call for art for the fourth annual Anonymous Art Show fundraiser taking place this summer.

Artists of all skills levels and ages are invited to create works of diverse styles, subject matters and mediums.

All work must be done on a 12 x 12 x 1.5” canvas, and participating artists will receive a discount on a pre-stretched canvas of the required size from supporting partner House of Fine Arts, located on West Railway Street.

The exhibition raises funds for the Abbotsford Arts Council programs, and half of the proceeds go directly to the participating artists.

The Anonymous Art Show runs July 8 to Aug. 8 at Kariton Art Gallery, with an opening reception to be held July 8 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Application forms are available online at abbotsfordartscouncil.com or by emailing info@abbotsfordartscouncil.com.
