The Abbotsford Youth Health Centre (AYHC) will open at its new permanent clinic on Tuesday, July 9 from 4 to 7 p.m.
The centre, which had been operating out of Abbotsford Regional Hospital for more than a year as it arranged for a permanent site, will now be located at #103 1945 McCallum Rd. and will be open every Tuesday.
This is a partnership with the Abbotsford Division of Family Practice.
The youth health centre will also continue to operate at Bakerview Centre for Learning (32633 Marshall Rd.) every Thursday, starting July 11, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Starting in September, the AYHC will expand from two days a week to three (two days at the new clinic and one day at Bakerview).
AYHC offers health services for young people ages 12 to 24, and is staffed by a doctor.
