The Yale Secondary Leadership program held their annual Canada Day In May Fun Fair on Friday, May 17.
The students from Grades 9-12 worked at booths that included leg waxing, hay rides, a chocolate fondue, balloon pop, bungee run, and many more fun activities. The entire school spent time at the fun fair, which was located on the front grounds.
After the Yale students went back to class, students from McMillan Elementary and Fraser Middle school were invited over to participate in the fun.
More than 500 students visited and interacted with the Yale leadership students.
In the next couple of weeks many Yale Leadership students will be volunteering at various elementary schools, helping with their own year-end fun fairs.
Yale leadership program recently staged an all-night Live to Give fundraiser, generating $18,000 for Free the Children, to support education in Sierra Leone.
