Thousands take in the annual Sikh Parade on Sunday

The 48th annual Nagar Kirtan Procession took over parts of west Abbotsford on Sunday.

The parade kicked 10 a.m. at the Gurdwara Sahib Kalgidhar Darbar, located at 30640 Blueridge Drive, and proceeded to do an entire loop of the area, ending at the same location at around 3 p.m.

The traditional parade is a religious procession, led by the Sikh holy scriptures. It regularly draws tens of thousands of participants, some who come from across the continent for the event.
