Three measles immunization clinics for children have been scheduled in Abbotsford over the next few weeks.
The first clinic takes place Friday, May 17 (a teachers’ professional development day) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eugene Reimer Middle School, 3433 Firhill Drive.
The second clinic is on Thursday, May 23 from 4 to 7:30 p.m. at the Abbotsford Health Unit, #104 - 34194 Marshall Rd.
The third takes place Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Fraser Middle School, 34695 Blatchford Way.
These clinics will only provide measles immunizations. If your child requires other immunizations, call 604-702-4906 to book an appointment at the health unit or see your doctor or immunizing pharmacist (ages five and up).
Parents and/or guardians must accompany their children to the clinic and bring the letter/immunization record they received from Fraser Health Public Health.
More clinics might be added. Visit fraserhealth.ca/measlescatchup to view the most up-to-date list.
