A charity event held at the European Day Spa & Salon has raised $750 for the Abbotsford Hospice Society’s Holmberg House.
The funds were raised through the spa’s Ladies’ Night, which involved participants paying $25 for an evening of snacks, champagne and their choice of three spa services. Seven estheticians, two hairstylists and three reception staffers all donated their time that evening.
Holmberg House is a hospice facility for people 19 years and older who are facing terminal illness. It is being built on the ground of the Dave Lede Campus of Care, next to Abbotsford Regional Hospital.
