SLIDESHOW: The 8th annual Pet Lover Show at Abbotsford’s Tradex

Abbotsford’s Pet Lover Show was a packed affair on Saturday, Feb. 15.

The annual show is Western Canada’s largest pet-focused event. If you missed your chance to attend today at Tradex, you can always catch tomorrow’s show, which runs from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The show features animal related seminars and speakers, interactive pet-focused activities and more. This years showing, which is the 8th year running for the event, new exhibitions and dozens of returning fan-favorites.

For instance, the integrated RCMP service dogs give a demonstration, and the President’s Choice SuperDogs will audition local finalists for the chance to perform this summer with them at The Fair at the PNE. Both are big attractions.

The event also features the Catoro Cat Cafe. Guests can journey into the magical Cat Forest, grab a bubble tea or snack, and relax with some rescue cats and kittens that are in need of forever homes.

Admission at the door is $14 for adults, $10 for seniors and youth (ages six to 15), and free for kids five years and under.
