Maan Farms (790 McKenzie Rd.) holds an Easter Egg-Stravaganza from March 30 to April 2, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Info:


Taves Family Farms (333 Gladwin Rd.) holds an Easterfest from March 30 to April 2, 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Info:


The Abbotsford Legion (2513 West Railway St.) holds karaoke from 7:30 to 11:30 on Friday and meat draws on Saturday from 2 to 5 with Laurie Roberts as entertainment. Breakfast is Sunday from 8:30 to 11:30. Karaoke is on Wednesday from 2 to 5, with a breakfast draw from 3 to 4. Darts are Thursday from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m.


A German sing-along takes place Saturday, March 31 from 2 to 4 pm. at Peace Lutheran Church (corner of Ware and Marshall). Refreshments to follow. Everyone is welcome. Info: 604-859-0822


The Abbotsford Parkinson’s Support Group meets Monday, April 2 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at Matsqui Rec Centre, 3106 Clearbrook Rd. This month looks at how to talk to health care professionals, and includes reps from Rock Steady Boxing and PWR programs. Info: Carolyn at 604-853-3772 or


Friends of the Abbotsford Libraries meets Tuesday, April 3 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. at Clearbrook Library, 32320 George Ferguson Way. The Friends assist at library events, run fundraising initiatives and more. Info: 604-859-7814


Abbotsford Learning Plus presents two classes next week in its fall series. Both sessions run from 10 a.m. to noon at Abbotsford Recreation Centre (ARC), 2499 McMillan Rd. The topic on Tuesday, April 3 is “Money Matters.” The topic on Thursday, April 5 is “The Life and Times of Pierre Elliot Trudeau.” Cost per class is $5, plus the $2 ARC drop-in fee. Central Heights Church (1661 McCallum Rd.) holds a Krispy Kreme doughnuts fundraiser on Saturday, April 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Cost is $10 for a dozen. Proceeds go towards building renovations.


Blankets for the Fraser Valley meets Thursday, April 6 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Abbotsford Co-Op Hall, 32855 Marshall Rd. All are welcome to help put together knitted and crocheted blankets together for those in need in Abbotsford. All materials are supplied. Donations of yarn are always appreciated.
