The presentation Campus 2020: Thinking Ahead, originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 27, has been cancelled. On Thursday, March 29, A Social Worker’s Experiences at the Regional Psychiatric Centre will be presented by Isadore Noel. Learning Plus classes, designed with seniors in mind, run Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Abbotsford Recreation Centre, 2499 McMillan Road. The Abbotsford Nar-Anon Caring and Sharing Nar-Anon Family Group is sponsoring its inaugural Nar-Anon day of information and motivation on March 31. Come and enjoy food, listen to some guest speakers and share your experience, strength and hope with fellow Nar-Anon members from different areas.
The family groups are a worldwide fellowship for those affected by someone else’s addiction. As a 12 step program, it offers help by sharing experiences, strength and, hope.
The event takes place March 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church Gym (3845 Gladwin Rd. Abbotsford). Registration is $12. Contact Nicky at bbm@telus.net for information.

The University of the Fraser Valley visual arts diploma students invite the oublic to attend a graduating exhibition called Eklektisch.
The show runs from March 23 to April 17 with an opening reception on March 25 from 1-4 p.m. at the Kariton Gallery (2387 Ware St. Abbotsford). Contemporary works of art represent an eclectic mix of inventive conceptual, inter-disciplinary and multimedia art practices.

HOMINUM Fraser Valley Chapter is an informal discussion and support group to help gay, bi-sexual and questioning men with the challenges of being married, separated or single. Getting involved
Dads and Kids at Play, a drop-in for fathers and their kids ages five to 12, runs every Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Abbotsford Recreation Centre. The cost is $2.80 per child, and free for dads. The program is a partnership between Abbotsford Parks and Recreation and the Father Involvement Program at Abbotsford Community Services.

Time to dance
Suburban Swing has a new dance venue Thursday nights 8:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Phoenix Lounge and Finnegan’s Pub, 33780 King Road. Drop-in lessons start at 8p.m. Cost is five dollars and dancers must be 19 years or older.
