MAD SCIENCE
A Mad Science event is held Monday, July 31 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at Abbotsford Community Library (33355 Bevan Ave.) and Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 2 to 2:45 p.m. at Mt. Lehman Library, 5975 Mt. PET PARADE
Clearbrook Library (32320 George Ferguson Way) holds a Pet Parade on Wednesday, Aug. 2 from 2 to 3 p.m. Kids are invited to bring along their favourite stuffed animal and join the event, which includes stories, craft noise-makers, and a parade around the library and park. STORYTIME ON THE PORCH

MOOD DISORDERS
The Mood Disorders Association support group meets Thursday, Aug. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Abbotsford Community Services (2420 Montrose Ave.). Abbotsford Community Services holds English Conversation Circles for people who are new immigrants to Canada and would like to practise speaking English.
