MOTORCYCLE RIDE FOR WATER
The second annual “Turn On The Tap” is a 2.5-hour motorcycle ride through the Fraser Valley to raise money for Samaritan’s Purse Canada’s water filtration systems. This year’s ride takes place Saturday, Sept. 10, starting at 10:30 a.m. and leaving from Maranatha Baptist Church parking lot, 3580 Clearbrook Rd. Registration is $25 per motorcycle. Every $100 raised purchases a filtration system which can supply clean drinking water for a family of eight to 10. The Abbotsford District Retired Teachers’ Association (ADRTA) invites all members to the annual “To Hell With the Bell” brunch on Tuesday, Sept. 6 at the Abbotsford District Teachers’ Association hall.
