The annual Vancouver Motorcycle Show starts Friday, Jan. 24 at Tradex in Abbotsford and runs throughout the weekend.
The event features the latest gear, live demonstrations, stunt shows, and a brand new lineup of 2020 motorcycles, ATVs and scooters as well as the classics.
New to the show this year is the Vintage and Cafe Racer Show ’n’ Shine, where guests can check out classic racers and vote for their favourite bike for the title of People’s Choice.
A customized 2014 military-themed Harley-Davidson Street Bob motorcycle will be on display at the Parts Canada Drag Specialties booth.
The bike will be auctioned off via live stream at the Heroes Hockey Challenge Gala in Toronto in March, with proceeds going to initiatives that support the men and women of the Canadian Armed Forces and their families.
Back by popular demand, local stunt group VanCity Stunters will generate their usual flurry of smoke-filled excitement with their acrobatic motorcycle maneuvering and high-energy performances their fans have come to expect.

Also returning to the show will be the Seattle Cossacks Motorcycle Stunt and Drill Team.
This team of riders have brought their show to crowds all over the world since 1938 and have been featured on shows such as America’s Got Talent, Ripley’s Believe it or Not, and Real People.
Also at the show, professional riding instructor Clinton Smout will demonstrate techniques that include clutch control, obstacle avoidance and slow-speed maneuvers.
After visitors are armed with their fill of riding tips, they can relax in the Moto Lifestyle Lounge, where they will hear live entertainment and be able to view up-close customized Triumph motorcycles.
She Rides Night is back Friday night, when the entry fee for ladies is cut in half after 5 p.m. One woman on this night will receive a $2,000 voucher to spend at any of the exhibitor booths at the show.
Yamaha Riding Academy is also returning for kids from the ages of six to 12 who want to learn how to ride the latest Yamaha TT-R off-road motorcycle in a safe environment and in the company of trained and certified instructors.
At the show’s Strider Adventure Zone, children as young as 18 months and up to the age of five can take part in test riding a Strider Bike through a course of tires, rumble strips and ramps.
Families are encouraged to visit the adventure zone in the show’s outside feature tent so they can book their children’s riding experience.
Also featured are exhibits from some of the biggest names in motorcycle production, including Yamaha, Suzuki, Harley-Davidson, Ducati, Aprilia, Kawasaki, BMW, Honda, Moto Guzzi, Vespa, and Piaggio, and more.
The show also includes the Kawasaki motorcycle give-away, with a Kawasaki Z400 given away at the show on Saturday at 4 p.m.
The draw is open to all show attendees, who must fill out their electronic ballots at the Kawaski booth from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday to be eligible for the draw.
Doors are open from noon to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $11 for kids ages six to 14, $12 for seniors and free for kids five and under.
