One of the biggest fried chicken fast food restaurants in the world is coming soon to Abbotsford.
A new Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is currently under construction on Marshall Road near Ray’s No Frills grocery store.
There are currently Popeyes locations in Surrey, Penticton and Kamloops.
The Popeyes menu contains its popular chicken available in spicy or mild, fish, shrimp and many sides such as poutine, cole slaw, mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese.
Popeyes has also released an extremely popular new chicken sandwich, which many people have raved about online. The sandwich contains a buttermilk batter chicken breast, popular seasoning and a crunchy pickle inside a buttery brioche bun.

Fights have also broken out based on the availability of the sandwich, with many customers desiring to bite into the juicy, succulent, delicious, tasty, mouth-watering food.
