A local man had his 11-inch ponytail cut off on Dec. 5 to raise money for the Psalm 23 Transition Society.

A group of seven people bid for the rights to chop the hair of Frank Kucey, raising $1,650.

Highest bidder Darcy McDonald cut the ponytail, and Fusion Hair Design then gave Kucey a haircut.
