Holiday revelers will once again have a safe ride home, thanks to Operation Red Nose.
The designated-driver service runs Nov. 28 and 29, and Dec. 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20 and 31 in Abbotsford and area.
With teams of three, volunteers are available to pick people up from holiday events and drive them home in their own vehicle, bringing cars and their owners home safely.
There is no charge for the service but donations go to PacificSport Fraser Valley.
Operation Red Nose is the primary annual fundraiser for PacificSport Fraser Valley. Half of the funds raised go directly to registered athletes and coaches in the form or travel, performance and professional development grants. The balance is used to develop and deliver sport programs and services in the Fraser Valley region.
