The annual Mill Lake Cruise-In takes place Saturday, July 14 at Mill Lake Park in Abbotsford.

The free family event runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. rain or shine.

Free public parking will be available at Abbotsford Middle School, as well as at the MSA Arena, which is a 10-minute walk.

The Mill Lake Cruise-In was voted one of the best car shows in the Lower Mainland by Specialty Vehicle Association of B.C.

It raises funds for Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) to buy badly needed equipment for the hospital.

The event is co-ordinated by Pete and Robbie Zomar and is open to all specialty vehicles.

More than 700 cars are expected at this year’s event, including muscle cars, street machines, classics, hot rods, vintage cars, trucks, and low-riders.

In addition to the car show, the day’s festivities include trophies, dash plaques, vendors, food, door prizes, a 50/50 draw, and a silent auction.

Enjoy live entertainment with special performances by Topaz and Kassandra Clack.

Doors open at 7 a.m. and the trophy presentation will be at 2 p.m.

The cost of registration for vehicles is $20 and partial proceeds will be donated to FVHCF.

To sponsor or volunteer for the event, contact Pete Zomar at or call 604-756-3766.
