The 2014 granting cycle for the Abbotsford Heat Foundation is now open.
The Heat Foundation’s objective is to improve the quality of life for the under-17 age group of the Fraser Valley. They seek to do this by supporting grassroots sports, projects that improve health, education and fitness, and programs that repress risk-related behaviour.
The foundation is inviting organizations whose activities align with those goals to apply for grants. Letters of intent will be accepted between March 15 and April 15. For more information, contact Laura Reynaud at lreynaud@abbotsfordheat.com or 604-743-5070.
The Heat Foundation has granted over $100,000 to date, which is over and above the $400,000 that organizations have received through sales of 50/50 tickets at Heat games.
