Ten-year-old Kaitlyn Reist loves summer camp.
Specifically, she loves the Christian-based Foursquare Kids Camp in Columbia Valley near Cultus Lake.
And this year, she wants to help others experience its wacky hair day and outdoor hikes.
Reist is holding a fundraising garage sale on Sunday, May 8 to assist those who can’t afford the camp fees.
Her goal is to pay for herself, as she turned down financial sponsorship to allow another child to have it, and at least three others.
Currently, she is collecting donated items to sell.
The sale will also feature a raffle draw with giveaways from local businesses.
