Shoppers at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre can save time this holiday season with the gift-wrapping booth organized by the Archway Community Connections program.
Proceeds will support educational classes, relationship-building, social activities, and events to help newcomers build connections in their community.
The gift-wrapping service was cancelled last year due to COVID-10, which affected the activities the Community Connections program was able to offer.
“We rely on this fundraiser to provide extras like our annual International Women’s Day gathering,” said program supervisor Elise Marier.
“We’re grateful to all the volunteers who have already signed up and look forward to helping make the holidays a little less stressful for anyone who brings in presents to be wrapped.”
The gift-wrapping service is available Wednesdays to Sundays until Dec. 24 and is located at the community booth located outside of Hudson’s Bay. Visit shopsevenoaks.com/pages/sevenoaks-gift-wrapping for more information, including hours and donation recommendations.
