The Abbotsford Flying Club is offering free flights for kids ages seven to 13 who have not yet flown in a small plane such as a Cessna or a Piper.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 15 (or on June 22, if the weather is poor).
Participants receive a short ground-school session where they learn about the basics of flight. The flights last for about 15 minutes over Abbotsford and the surrounding area with fully licensed pilots.
