The Fraser Valley Conservancy recently celebrated Blue Water Day at the Sumas branch of the Royal Bank of Canada, where they received $40,000 to work on water-related projects.

The RBC Blue Water Project is a wide-ranging, multi-year program to help foster a culture of water stewardship so that people have clean fresh water today and into the future.

The Fraser Valley Conservancy is a non-profit organization that places lands in trust for the future.

The group has secured 37 acres of wildlife habitat containing woodland forest, mature forests, creeks and wetlands.
