Fraser Valley Comic and Collectible Show returns to Abbotsford on Sunday

Second edition of the show back at Matsqui Hall on Oct. 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

After a successful debut show on Father’s Day, the Fraser Valley Comic and Collectible show returns to the Matsqui Community Hall on Sunday, Oct. 6.

The event, put on by Abbotsford comic book store Heroes for Sale owner Ivan Sekulic and his family, drew hundreds in June, and the positive feedback from both customers and vendors led to the demand for another show.

Comic books will be the main item available at the show, but organizers say that toys, games, Hot Wheels cars, Funko pops and potentially local art will also be for sale.

There will also be door prizes for all attendees, with hourly draws for the prizes.

Those who attended the inaugural event will also notice several new vendors.

Just like the inaugural show, event organizers will be accepting donations of non-perishable food items. Those goods will then be donated to Cyrus Centre.

The event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Admission is $6 for those 13 and over, but free for all kids 12 and under.

With the aforementioned donation, attendees can receive $1 off admission.
