An average of 40 walkers a day are taking advantage of the Abbotsford Entertainment and Sports Centre’s new walking program.
Jason Blumenfeld, general manager of the facility, said 675 participants have signed up to walk around the concourse (5.5 laps equals one mile or 1.6 km) on a drop-in basis.
The activity is free but guests are asked to sign in at Guest Services located in section 103. Walking hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. but times are subject to change. Updated schedules are available online at www.abbotsfordcentre.ca.
