Magnuson Ford is partnering with Canadian Tire in Abbotsford on Saturday, Dec. 7 to raise funds for Operation Red Nose and collect donations for the food bank's food and warm-clothing drive.
The Drive One For Your Community event invites the public to test drive a Ford vehicle. For every vehicle that leaves the lot, Ford of Canada and Magnuson Ford will donate $20.
The goal is to raise up to $6,000 for Operation Red Nose, which provides safe rides home during the holiday season.
The public is also asked to drop off donations of clothing, non-perishable food or cash for the Abbotsford Food Bank.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Canadian Tire parking lot, 32513 South Fraser Way.
Among those who will be in attendance are Mayor Bruce Banman, and MLAs Mike de Jong, Simon Gibson and Darryl Plecas.
