Cows in the classroom

BC Dairy Association's Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience made a stop in Abbotsford on Friday.

The BC Dairy Association’s Mobile Dairy Classroom Experience came to Abbotsford’s Roberta Bondar Elementary School on Friday morning.

The idea of the mobile classroom is to bring a dairy farm to school across BC. It is a 54-foot fifth wheel trailer that has been modified to fit a milking jar, set of pumps and room to transport two cows and one calf.

Instructors show children how a cow is milked and explain other facts about the dairy industry.
