Small businesses looking to add to their workforce this summer can apply for federal funding to hire a student through the Canada Summer Jobs program again this summer.
The program is open to businesses with 50 or fewer employees, as well as non-profits and public sector employers. Eligible students are between 15 and 30 years old, and they must intend to return to their studies come fall.
Employers can apply to the program from Jan. 4 to Feb. 26. Students can begin funded work under the program in early May.
