Call for car-themed art show

The Abbotsford Arts Council needs artists for its first-ever Mill Lake Cruise-in art show

The Abbotsford Arts Council needs artists for its first-ever Mill Lake Cruise-in art show at the Kariton Art Gallery.

This short-term, “drive by” exhibition will open on the same day as the Mill Lake Cruise-in on July 11, also hosted by the council in partnership with the MSA Museum Society and Pete and Robbie Zomar. An opening reception for the art show will take place July 11 from 6 to 8 p.m.

This is an open call for artists working in any medium and living in the Fraser Valley. All forms of car-related work are welcome.

The deadline for applications is 4:30 p.m. on June 14. Applications are available at abbotsfordartscouncil.org or at the Kariton Art Gallery (2387 Ware St.).
