B.C.’s favourite August event is back.
The Canadian Forces Snowbirds return to the Abbotsford skies to headline the 50th anniversary of the Abbotsford International Airshow.
Marvel at the Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornet demo, and be thrilled by the US Air Force Thunderbirds and the US Navy VFA-122 F/A-18 Superhornet tactical demonstration.
Bud Granley will astound with the Fouga Jet show, an awe-inspiring dynamic aerobatic ballet.
Pete McLeod Red Bull Air Racing will thrill and leave chills. And children, brace yourself for the most extreme school bus ride like no other as the IndyBoys Inc. Jet Schoolbus races to speeds off the chart!
This annual family-friendly event has something for everyone to enjoy: spectacular aerobatics, intricate routines, thrilling formation flying, stunning precision parachute work, and an explosive pyrotechnic display.
Aviation through the decades with vintage warbirds to modern military jets, carriers to rotary wing, there is plenty to see for spectators of all ages.
You won’t want to miss this incredible anniversary show— three-days of flying events – Aug. 10-12.
On the ground, check out the inside of jets and carriers on display; visit the autograph booth to meet your favourite performer; and stop at the exhibit booths to learn about joining the aviation community.
