A conference on aging, health, and wellness for seniors takes place in Abbotsford this Friday and Saturday (Feb. 12 and 13).
The Aging Together event takes place at Sevenoaks Alliance Church (2575 Gladwin Rd.). It features popular health radio hosts Drs. Dave Hepburn and Rob Sealey, B.C. seniors’ advocate Isobel Mackenzie, and workshops on everything from road safety to intimacy for older adults.
The conference runs from about 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days. Cost is $30 for one day or $55 for both.
The event is designed for seniors and baby boomers looking to take charge of their own health, caregivers of seniors, and those who work in the senior care sector.
