The fifth annual Environmental Mind Grind takes place Saturday, Feb. 24 at Sevenoaks Shopping Centre from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
High school teams from Abbotsford and Mission will compete in a game-show-style event that challenges their knowledge of the environment.
The event is put on by Abbotsford Mission Recycling in partnership with the City of Abbotsford and District of Mission.
Last year’s event was won by a team from Rick Hansen Secondary, who earned $1,500. Second spot ($500) went to Mission Secondary, and Robert Bateman Secondary took third spot ($250).
