The Abbotsford branch of the Royal Canadian Legion celebrated two happy occasions this month.
Waldo Staples and Beverly Burton showed off their Christmas attire as Santa and Mrs. Claus in time for the kids’ Christmas party on Dec. 10.
Staples graciously supplied all the gifts for the kids and purchased pizza, much to their delight.
The second occasion was the veterans’ dinner on Dec. 3. Navy veteran John Molnar proudly introduced one of his great-granddaughters, Jenna, to his many comrades.
