Abbotsford-based Multi-Cultural Ministries has announced an initiative to support Syrian refugees.
Dr. David McLauren said the organization will offer the following support to refugees:
– the promotion of refugee sponsorship and support for their churches/individuals;
– information for Canadians about refugee policies and advocacy for fair legislation;
– providing refugee claimants with legal support and help with settlement; and
– encouragement for churches to provide migrant workers with spiritual and practical support.
Multi-Cultural Ministries provides Christian resource and outreach to local missions and works with churches, mission agencies and relief development agencies.
