Maplewood Seniors Care Society appoints new CEO

Heidi Mannis is now the chief executive officer of Maplewood Seniors Care Society (MSCS) in Abbotsford.

Heidi Mannis has been named the chief executive officer of Maplewood Seniors Care Society (MSCS) in Abbotsford.

Mannis provided interim leadership before she was appointed CEO this week.

Mannis has worked with municipal and health authority Continuing Care Services as well as operated care homes and seniors lodges.

She also served as director of Community Programs with the BC branch of the Victorian Order of Nurses, including the Family Respite Centre. More recently, Mannis has been working in acute care pediatrics.

"I am honoured to serve the residents, clients and families associated with MSCS alongside the staff team, volunteers and board of directors," said Mannis. "The society has a tradition of excellence in Abbotsford that will continue as we pursue innovative opportunities and sustain our current services."
