Anyone looking for some culinary inspiration for your herbs and garden edibles can take in a free demonstration featuring one of the Fraser Valley’s best known chefs.
Executive Chef Jeff Massey from Restaurant 62 in Abbotsford is known for his creations using the freshest ingredients from growers throughout the Fraser Valley. He combines simple, garden-fresh ingredients to create impressive dishes that have earned him endless accolades, including being named one of Western Canada’s Top 40 Foodies Under 40 by Western Living Magazine.
Massey will be presenting a one-hour session on Saturday, June 9, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Minter Country Gardens in Chilliwack.
During the event, Brian Minter will provide tips for growing the healthiest herbs while Massey will demonstrate how you can best showcase your garden edibles with a few elegantly prepared recipes.
